Artists such as Charli XCX, Jade and Wolf Alice have all joined in signing a letter of solidarity for the trans, non-binary and intersex community.
The letter, started by artist Tom Rasmussen, comes after a decision from the UK Supreme Court stating that, under the Equality Act 2010, legal definitions of gender would be based upon biological sex.
The letter states “This is our moment to amplify voices that need to be heard… let us stand on the side of truth, equality, and respect.”
