Buzzards’ Drummer George Harp Sheds Light On New Music

Band’s first new release since 2024.

Buzzards Drummer George Harp has some exciting news for us. The Buzzards are gearing up to release “three new songs roughly around July”.

The band (Eliot Wolstencroft on bass, Leo Donoghue on guitar, George Harp on drums) have honed in on shoegaze and indie influences such as Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine. They have been working this sound into their own songs and implementing it live in the Plymouth music scene.

Their first EP was originally released in 2024, but didn’t meet with positive reactions. The band themselves were not happy with the sound and production of their first effort.

Now, with the help of DBS Studios in Plymouth, they are much happier with the material they are recording. let’s hope their adoring, local fans are just as happy with the results.

The band have already shown promise through their amped up live performances across the live circuit in Plymouth. They have continued to impress their local and very loyal fans that turn up to the gigs.

The Drummer also added that the songs will be released as “an album package” later down the line (presumably another EP). Exciting times ahead for the local Devon band.
