Buses will replace trains between Manchester Piccadilly and Chester overnight through the Bank Holiday weekend, until Tuesday. This is due to planned overnight work on the tracks. Other disruptions include trains between Preston and Warrington being diverted through Manchester, and Liverpool Lime Street station will be closed on Sunday.
Passengers are advised that trains are expected to be crowded.
