Harry Styles has returned to the stage following his three year hiatus with his new tour, “Together, Together.” The tour kicked off in Amsterdam on the 16th of May, selling out Johan Cruijff Area, and celebrates the release of his new album, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. But according to recent reports and fans that have attended opening weekend, the tour has produced mixed emotions.
Harry Styles, famously known as a former member of One Direction, has been in the music industry since 2010 when he auditioned for the British singing competition, “The X Factor.” Since then, Styles has broken many American and British music records, solo and with One Direction. Prior to this tour, Styles has toured twice spanning five continents: North America, Europe, Oceania, South America, and Asia. His tours are often praised for his energetic and emotional performance, drawing massive crowds and generating a lot of revenue.
On March 6th, 2026 Harry Styles released his fourth studio album, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. The album has 12 different tracks that convey a passionate and enthusiastic narrative. Styles announced in January of 2026 that he would be touring in seven cities around the world: Amsterdam (10 nights), London (12 nights), São Paulo (four nights), Mexico City (three nights), New York City (30 nights), Melbourne (four nights), and Sydney (two nights). The “Together, Together” tour is scheduled to wrap up on December 13th, 2026, with the final performance at Accor Stadium in Sydney, Australia.
With its debut in Amsterdam, Styles and his tour have gained the attraction and the attention of many critics. Dressed in a fresh new look, Styles stepped out onto the stage wearing a striped shirt and a tie – a look which is completely different from his previous tours to complete his 21 song setlist. According to Asyia Iftikhar at the Metro, “the concert takes fans through the highlights of his new album as well as his career hits while he runs around a vast stage connected by bridges – and executes minimal choreography.” For fans located on the floor, “there were several chunks of time when, due to the angle of the bridges, Harry was simply not visible to the audience, instead obscured by 10ft walkways.” This is especially disappointing for concertgoers who paid a significant amount of money, only to find their view was being blocked by the stage design. Fans and critics around the world have taken to social media to express their displeasure. Platforms such as X, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook have generated massive discussions about the tours’ obstructed views, set design, and ticket prices.
In an effort to combat this issue, Harry Styles HQ released a statement on the platform Instagram stating, “We want every person in the room to have the best experience possible, and we are actively working on making adjustments to improve visibility, while keeping everyone’s safety a priority.” Their plan is to adjust the front bridges to improve stage visibility for concertgoers. Although this adjustment is great for future fans attending the show, what about past attendees who had their view obstructed?
As Harry Styles prepares to take the stage again at the Johan Cruijff Area in Amsterdam to finish his stop in the city, fans are hoping their concerns were heard and changes have been made to ensure everyone has a positive experience at the “Together, Together” tour. If not, the media is bound to have a field day with the issues surrounding this tour.
