A by-election is set to occur after a Cheshire West and Chester councillor stepped down. The resignation of Conservative Party councillor, Phil Rimmer, is effective immediately, forcing a by-election in Weaver and Cuddington. Councillor Adrian Waddelove, via social media, announced that Mr Rimmer chose to stand down “due to a change in professional and personal circumstances”.
