A spin-off game, titled God of War: Laufey, it focuses on the deceased wife of Kratos, the franchise’s protagonist, as she navigates the afterlife of the gods from different mythologies. Deborah Ann Woll (Daredevil, True Blood) returns as Laufey, with Jack Quaid (The Boys) also being cast. Composer Bear McCreary is also returning for the game’s soundtrack. Twenty minutes of gameplay were shown but no release date has been set.
