Cage Warriors returns to Manchester on June 20 with CW 207, bringing another stacked card to the BEC Arena and showcasing some of the best emerging talent in European mixed martial arts. Headlined by a lightweight championship clash between Omiel Brown and unbeaten Welsh contender Ieuan Davies, the event has all the ingredients to deliver an unforgettable evening.
The main event sees newly crowned champion Omiel Brown make the first defence of his lightweight title after capturing undisputed gold earlier this year. Riding a seven-fight winning streak, Brown has established himself as one of the promotion’s most dangerous finishers and now faces perhaps his toughest challenge yet. Standing opposite him is Ieuan Davies, an undefeated prospect whose rapid rise through the ranks has been built on technical skill, composure and relentless confidence. With the title on the line, something has to give.
Elsewhere on the card, lightweight contender Adam Cullen looks to continue his ascent when he takes on Stefano Catacoli in a bout that could have significant implications for the division. Unbeaten prospect Shay Ingram also returns to action against Marin Vetrila, aiming to preserve his perfect record and strengthen his case for bigger opportunities.
Electric atmosphere
As always, Cage Warriors provides a platform for current and potential stars, and Manchester has become one of the promotion’s most reliable proving grounds. The atmosphere at the BEC Arena is expected to be electric, with local favourites, international prospects and championship ambitions all sharing the spotlight.
Whether it’s the established names defending their positions or the next generation looking to announce themselves, Cage Warriors 207 promises compelling matchups from top to bottom. With a title fight topping the bill and several intriguing contests underneath it, fans can expect another memorable chapter in the promotion’s long history of producing elite MMA talent.
Opening the card is Manchester’s own Nathanael Woods who is looking to get a bounce back victory after a defeat last time out to Sheldon Ryan via unanimous decision. He takes on El Salvador native Josua Hernandez who holds a record of 2 wins with 2 defeats.
Woods spoke about what he expects from his opponent, “He is a southpaw opponent who is wild and sporadic, my path to victory will be to stay calm and pick my shots and keep piling the pressure.
“After this fight the dream would be to fight 2 or 3 more times before the end of the year.”

“The goal is to end up in the UFC, however the ultimate dream is to be a UFC champion and to do that I need to be fighting frequently.”
